Diamon Fusion® is a professionally applied hydrophobic glass coating that makes glass easier to clean and help protect it from water stains, mineral deposits, soap scum and environmental contaminants. The optically clear treatment chemically bonds with the silica in glass, creating a ultra thin protective surface without changing the appearance of the glass.

Diamon Fusion® is a patented two stage nanotechnology developed to protect glass and other silica based surfaces. Unlike a temporary wax or conventional topical treatment, it forms a covalent bond with the glass surface. This creates a durable, water repellent barrier that makes it more difficult for contaminants to attach to the glass and it is also easier to remove them during routine cleaning.
The treatment is colourless, optically clear and less than 40 nanometres thick. It can be professionally applied during fabrication or on site after the glass have been installed.
This first stage creates a cross linked branched silicone film that bonds with the silica in the glass. This fills the microscopic irregutlatires in the untreated surface and establishes the foundation of the protective treatment
The second stage caps the molecular structure, increasing the surface’s hydrophobic properties and durability. Water forms beads and releases more readily, while soap residue, mineral deposits, oils and other contaminants become easier to remove.
Diamon Fusion® requires no curing period after professional application, allowing treated glass to be handled or placed into service immediately.
Diamon Fusion® can reduce cleaning effort by up to 90% compared with untreated glass. Its low friction, water repellent surface helps reduce the adhesion of soap scum, mineral deposits and everyday grime. Regular cleaning is still required, but it can generally be completed using water, mild soap and a soft microfibre cloth.
Untreated glass can be affected by minerals and contaminants that remain after water evaporates. Over time, these deposits may become difficult to remove and can damage the appearance of the glass. Diamon Fusion® helps reduce contaminant adhesion and the risk of permanent staining when the surface is maintained according to the recommended care instructions.
The treatment is transparent and colourless, preserving the intended clarity, colour and visual character of the glass. It does not form a visible film and is designed not to haze, peel, crack, yellow or discolour under the applicable warranty conditions.
The treated surface repels both water and oil based contaminants. Documented product testing records a water contract angle above 100 degrees and a low sliding angle, helping water form beads and move more readily across the glass.
Diamon Fusion® reduces surface friction and helps improve resistance to scratching, abrasion weathering and minor impact damage. It should not be described as scratch proof or impact proof, and it does not replace the safety performance of tempered or laminated glass.
Because contaminants are easier to remove, routine care can be completed without abrasive pads or harsh chemical cleaners. This can reduce cleaning time, water consumption and the use of aggressive cleaning products over the service life of the glass.

Shower glass is regularly exposed to water, soap residue and personal care products. Diamon Fusion® helps make this contamination easier to remove while preserving the clarity of framless shower screen, shower doors and bathroom partitions.
Exterior glass is exposed to rain, pollution, dust and environmental deposits. Diamon Fusion® can be applied to windows, curtain wall glazing, facades, canopies and skylights to support easier long term maintenance and help retain the intended appearance of the building.
The treatment can be applied to residential and commercial glass railings, including pool fencing and external balustrades, where water spotting, fingerprints and environmental contamination can affect visual clarity.
Interior doors, office partitions, display glass, lift interiors, feature panels and other frequently handle surfaces can benefit from easier removal of fingerprints, oil and routine dirt.
Diamon Fusion® is suitable for hotels, retail environments, offices, luxury residences and other projects where glass appearance and maintenance are important to the finished design.
Depending on the project, the technology may also be suitable for porcelain ceramic tile, granite, quartz and selected solar panel surfaces. Tekcoglas will assess the substrate and intended application before treatment.
Diamon Fusion® can be applied to new glass during fabrication or to glass that has already been installed. Existing glass must first be inspected and thoroughly prepared. Mineral deposits, soap scum and surface contamination need to be removed so that the treatment and bond correctly.
Where existing glass has suffered permanent etching, corrosion or deep scratches, restoration may be required before coating. Some damage may not be fully reversible, so Tekcoglas will assess the condition of the glass before recommending treatment.

The professionally applied Diamon Fusion® base coat is supported by a limited lifetime warranty, subject to the applicable warranty terms, eligible application, approved installation and recommended care requirements.
Warranty coverage relates to the performance of the Diamon Fusion® treatment and does not replace warranties for glass, hardware, installation or surrounding building components. Tekcoglas will provide the appropriate written warranty information for each eligible project.
Diamon Fusion® reduces maintenance but does not eliminate the need for cleaning. For routine care, use water with mild liquid soap and a soft microfibre cloth or non abrasive cleaning tool. Avoid abrasive pads, steel wool and harsh chemical cleaners unless specifically approved for the treated surface.
Regular light cleaning prevents contaminants from accumulating and helps maintain the water repellent performance and appearance of the glass.
